EV Charge Calculator Privacy Policy

EV Charge Calculator is designed to work without accounts and without collecting personal data during normal calculator use. Battery settings, charger settings, saved presets, cost inputs, schedule choices, and local reminder settings are used to calculate estimates in the app.

Information the App Does Not Collect During Normal Use

The core calculator does not require you to create an account, sign in, or send your calculator entries to a server. Normal use of the app does not collect your name, location, contacts, payment card details, or driving history.

Feedback and Feature Voting

EV Charge Calculator includes optional feedback features. You can vote on upcoming features you would like to see added, and you can send a freeform feedback message to the developer.

When you use these optional features, the app contacts a server owned by the developer. Server requests may collect technical information such as your IP address, request time, and user agent. In this app, the user agent may include the app name and general information that can be used to approximate the operating system version.

Feature voting sends the work item you voted for. Feedback messages send the text you write, the app name, bundle identifier, app version, and build number. If you choose to include an email address, that email address is sent so the developer can reply. If you choose to attach current calculator settings, those settings and calculated estimates are sent to help diagnose issues. This attachment does not include saved vehicle names.

How Information Is Used

Information from feedback and voting is used to prioritize future work, respond to support requests when you provide contact information, troubleshoot issues, maintain the feedback and voting services, and protect those services from abuse.

Sharing

The developer does not sell personal information. Feedback and voting information is not used for third-party advertising. Information may be disclosed if required by law or if necessary to operate, secure, or troubleshoot the app and related services.

Purchases

Any in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive your payment card details.

Retention

Feedback, optional contact information, votes, and related server logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including support, product planning, troubleshooting, security, and legal compliance.
